My name is Mrs. Pappas and I have been a teacher here at Hamlin since 2019. Before I became a teacher, I worked as a BII providing ABA therapy to children with Autism in the school and home setting for 5 years. During this time, I learned how these children have many challenges and when provided with the right supports, can learn and grow to overcome challenges. I absolutely love teaching students with special needs and learning how capable they truly are. In my spare time, I love going to concerts, hiking, trying new foods, and traveling.

I have been teaching elementary school for 17 exciting years! Of those 17 years, I have been teaching at Hamlin for 12 years. My love for teaching began when I was a school-age girl. I loved learning and watching my teachers as they inspired me always to do my best and never give up.
I find teaching to be the most rewarding career in the world. I get to spend every day with curious young minds that are full of wonder.
