Meet the Teacher

I am Mrs. Raji your kindergarten teacher this year! This is my second year teaching kindergarten at Hamlin Charter Academy. I earned my Bachelors in Science , Masters in English Literature and Multiple Subjects teaching credential from Cal State LA. I was born in Southern India and was fortunate to be born and raised in a country with a compelling history and diversity. This exposure to the east and the west has shaped my appreciation of cultural diversity as a person and educator.

My husband and I have two kids. During my free time I love to paint, listen to my favorite music, travel, and spend time with my family.

I truly believe that being an educator provides me with the opportunity to contribute to my community in a productive way. My service as an educator is my commitment to create passionate life long learners confident to face today's challenging world and fulfilling their dreams. I am here as your resource and partner to ensure that your child have a successful school year!
